ITINERARY

 


Day 1: Arrive in Accra

Arrive at Accra’s - Kotoka International Airport in the Capital of Ghana any time. You and/or your group will be picked up by a tour guide and driven to the Hotel to rest and relax for the rest of the night.

Day 2: A day at the Beach

Guest’s are taken to Accra’s famous Bojo Beach to unwind and/or participate in adventurous water sports. Bojo Beach is the only private beach on mainland Africa that offers a "Island" experience given that this beach is sandwiched between a lagoon and the sea shore.

Day 3: A Closer Look at Accra

  • Spend the first half of the day touring historical and cultural landmark of Ghana and African independence. This includes an excursion to Osu Castle, also known as Fort Christiansborg (a British colonial castle). Soon after, guest will proceed to visit The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and memorial park (in dedication to Africa’s father of independence). Lastly, guest will be taken to view Independence Square and Independence Arch.
  • Guest will spend the remainder of the day taking a road tour of downtown Accra.

Day 4: Drumming Dance and a visit to the University.

  •  This day will be by far the most memorable. Guest have the option to tour Ghana’s prestigious Legon University during the day.

Day 5: A day to roam about and get some shopping done

  • Day 5 is a limitless day for guest to explore local establishments around the neighborhood of the Skydome hotel, or just sit back and take some time to explore Ghana independently.
  • Alternatively, if guest are not interested in exploring, they have the option of being dropped off and picked up from the Accra Mall (where they can do some sophisticated shopping and catch a movie at the local theater.

Day 6: Time to say Goodbye.

  • This date is bitter-sweet. Unfortunately, the tour like all things must come to an end. Nevertheless, guests attend a unforgettable Ghanaian goodbye lunch banquet with both Local and Western food, music and an opportunity to dance and reminisce about your tour.
  • After this banquet guest will be driven as a group to the Airport and wished a safe journey.
