I TRAVEL GHANA has been operating in the hospitality and tourism industry since 1999. We offer the best and most affordable pre-arranged and custom made tours. Our main office is based in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Nevertheless, we have offices and contact persons stationed in America, Canada, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and France to assist our clients in preparing for their excursion to Ghana.
Unlike other tour companies that offer tours to numerous nations, I TRAVEL GHANA values substance over size. We strive to bring you a unique and memorable Ghanaian travel experience through our expertise and our commitment to ensuring each of our clients depart from Ghana with great memories. We are affiliated with numerous Ghanaian and international tourist Association, and we subscribe to their code of conduct. Our management team currently consists of four members where as our travel guides total 15 members. Additionally, each member of our team is certified and has many years of experience in the Ghanaian Tourist Industry.
STAFF:
I TRAVEL GHANA is operated by a highly experienced and able team of professionals to handle your travel needs in Ghana. Our certified drivers and tour guides are keen, well knowledged and well equipped locals who speak fluent English. Similarly, the customer care, concierge and hotel staff are high hospitable and accommodating.
Managing Director & Head of Sales: Jeff Osei, HBA
Jeff is the founder of iTravelGhana.com. He was previously contracted by the Canadian International Development Agency to Ghana to complete various development projects. He has travelled extensively throughout Africa and Europe and is currently the acting head of Sales in North America.
Office Manager: Afia Frimpomah, B.Com
Afia is the office manager and is responsible for all bookings, confirmations and other administrational tasks. She has a wealth of administrational experience and will go above and beyond her duties to make your iTravelGhana experience a great one.
Tour Consultant/ Secretary: Rose Adjai
She will be your first point of contact upon arrival to the hotel.
She is a graduate in tourism training and research and is responsible for organizing our various community development and wildlife conservation initiatives.
Head Tour Guide: Kwame Osei, Phd
Kwame has over 15 years of experience as a tour guide and Safari Guide. He was born and raised in the Asante region and studies History at Ghana’s prestigious Legon University. He is highly knowledged in African history and specializes in Slave History.
Tour Guide: Patricia Abena, MA
Abena has been in the tourism industry for five years, having completed a 3 year diploma in Travel and Tourism. She also gained more in depth knowledge of the Aburi gardens when she was a nature guide facilitator.
She’s a keen photographer and enjoys sharing the great and small elements that the African continent has to offer.
Tour Guide: Kwabena Bonsu, BA
Kwabena has spent the majority of his life in the African wilderness and has a unparalleled understanding of the fauna and flora of West Africa. He has led a large number of safaris throughout the years and is sure to add value to your experience. Kakum National Park is his speciality, and it would be rare to encounter another person who has such an intimate knowledge of this area and its inhabitants.
Chief Driver: Kweku Duah
Probably the friendliest person you will ever meet, Kweku is our chief driver. He previously drove a taxi and a school bus before joining our team. He is perhaps the most charismatic and humorous person that you shall encounter.
VEHICLES:
We have a well maintained and comprehensively insured fleet of mini-buses, SUV’s and Cars for the purposes of the tours. Nevertheless, some vehicles are also available for private hire upon request.
ACCOMODATION:
All tour guests are lodged at the 4 star Skydome Hotel in the heart of Accra. This hotel is fully equipped with a 4 star international restaurant, a magnificent bar, air conditioning, satellite T.V., laundry Service, in addition to a plethora of other amenities and concierge service upon request.
